A good man is easy to find

Written by Healthy Living

June is one of my favorite months for two reasons: one, it’s the start of a much-needed summer break from the routines and schedule of running kids around, and secondly, and most importantly, it’s a time to celebrate the men in my life.

The saying, “Men, you can’t live with them and you can’t live without them,” can ring true for many of us ladies at times, but I will say it’s much nicer being around happy, healthy men. In my experience, we are all more positive and productive when we are taking better care of ourselves. It’s not just women who fail to take time for themselves, but men also get into work and responsibilities and neglect their health.

I’m very excited about our feature this month on a great organization called F3 Nation. We interviewed one of the founders and hope to help encourage men in our community to join in and start groups in our area to support our men.

This is a group based on Fitness, Faith, and Family that meets in common areas such as parks and recreational facilities, and shares stories, workouts, and has fun in an uplifting environment. No requirements or fees involved. Just come as you are and get motivated.

What do you do when you have a need for spiritual soul food? We have a recipe to help you fill your hunger for a spiritual awakening.

Marriage is a big journey that has a lot of small steps. There may also be some steps you need to take before beginning that journey.

On a last note, we know a man who’s very important to the staff and patients at The Villages Regional Hospital. We think you’ll be impressed with what he has to offer.
