This is the perfect month to enjoy tasty, nutritious salads filled with colorful produce, including fresh spinach, romaine, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Add your favorite choice of protein, such as tilapia, salmon, walnuts, or sunflower seeds and you take your salad to a whole new level. Drizzle the top with a simple oil and vinegar dressing or your favorite salad dressing for the perfect finishing touch.

Simple oil and vinegar dressing

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper 
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
